Our Principal

Lino offers more than thirty years of experience in public accounting.  His career began in 1985 as an Assistant Controller for Lake County Illinois Consumer Cooperative Credit Union. In 1986 he transitioned into public accounting as an auditor with Clifton, Gunderson & Company, a nationally recognized firm with over 500 CPA's,  and then moved on as an auditor with Kaplan & Company.  In 1989 he obtained a position as a tax accountant at David S. Gilfand, Ltd., gaining significant experience in tax compliance and consultation for high net worth individuals and companies.  In 1993, after moving to Newport Beach, California, he established his own tax and accounting practice which was merged into Yeager & Altieri, Ltd. in 2009.  In 2021 Lino V. Altieri, CPA, Inc. was formed which serves former Yeager & Altieri, Ltd. clients and welcomes new individual and business clients.

Lino's areas of expertise include accounting and tax services for closely-held corporations and pass-through entities such as Partnerships and S-Corporations.  These services encompass formation, acquisition, day-to-day operations, as well as year-end tax planning and advice relative to specific business transactions.  He specializes in working with construction contractors, real estate developers & investors, health care professionals and other professional service companies.

Lino earned his Bachelors of Science in Accounting and Finance from Southern Illinois University and has been a licensed CPA since 1991.
